Distant Past

Distant Past is a multiple choice noir story I made for my diploma final piece. It has 15 separate clips and five different endings. You follow the story of Thomas Connors, a private eye from 1947. After a tragic event left him broken and scarred it's up to the audience to either get him back on track or push him further into darkness.

In addition to this short, I also made a blooper reel. A more comedic take on an otherwise depressing story. We had a number of technical difficulties and actors flubbing their lines in production. While we eventually got all these takes right, the journey was fun nonetheless.

We Will Remember Them

For Rememberace Day 2020, I filmed and edited a music video for the Bovington Military Wives Choir.

This video was a last minute project from the choir so I didn't have time to hire out equipment. I filmed the video footage on my phone.

The footage of the choir singing is my own, the videos and pictures (except for the Robin on the jacket, that was my photo) were either free to use or public domain.

WareAM

WareAM is a short series of videos I am creating to capture the feeling of Wareham in the morning. This video's theme is traffic but i plan on doing more videos and theming them around light and nature.

During my time in college, we were tasked with creating an advert that featured animation. I successfully pitched the idea to my group of making an artist pen advert where the drawing come to life through rotoscoping. Similar to Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. The shots I animated were the fox and the chameleon. It was well received and praised by our lecturers upon completion.

This was my first final project I worked towards in college, so the quality is slightly lower to that of my recent projects. In this documentary, I discuss the controversy of violence in games. Collecting my research from a number of sources and interviews, I evaluate whether or not these games can have an affect on the player's behaviour.
